Leki Ultratrail FX.One SL Trail Running Poles (Pair)
The Ultratrail FX.One SL is a race-first, fixed-length folding pole pair built for experienced trail and ultra runners who want maximum power transfer at a minimal weight.
Designed to keep you lightweight, nimble and stable during trail racing, the fixed-length, foldable Ultratrail FX.One SL is for those experienced trail and ultra runners. Made from Carbon HRC Max, the poles are stiff, super durable and reliable, accompanying you on long trail adventures. The fixed design is ideal for races and provides you with consistent pole plants and fast cadence. With a minimal weight, the poles provide maximum power with minimal weight transfer, and feature a slim diameter, designed for fast-paced climbing pursuits, efficient running techniques and quick transitions when you're moving between runnable sections and steep grades. A trail running basket and a trail running tip ensure optimal traction and stability on varied trail surfaces. With a 4-section folding construction, the poles allow you to fold away compactly for discreet storage and ease of carrying in your vest or belt. This is done with a push-button deployment, meaning you can fold them away between climbs.
Making carrying convenient and comfortable, the poles utilise Leki's Trail Trigger Shark grip system. This connects your hand to the pole directly, providing you with precise guidance on technical grounds. The Trail Trigger Shark system works with a Shark Frame Strap Mesh for secure carrying, direct connection with the ground below and has a useful, fast click-in/out handling. This allows you to keep the mesh straps on your hands and pack the poles away, making them easy to use when necessary.
Note on use: This product is weight-optimised and designed for use in competitions. It requires particularly trained and careful use and is not designed as an everyday training device. For everyday training purposes, we recommend other poles from Leki's range that are optimised for durability. We recommend use in trail running only on secured paths and not in exposed terrain, i.e. in alpine mountain sports where there is a risk of falling, on snow, ice or glaciers. Special design - does not comply with DIN 79016.
