Rubber Outsole

Using an all-new waffle-inspired rubber outsole, the Pegasus 42 ensures enhanced traction in dry and wet conditions. The durable rubber provides a strong grip, protecting itself from damage and protecting users from losing control and slipping. The rubber is placed in high-wear areas, including the full forefoot and sections of the heel, to increase durability and resist heel-strike trauma. The rubber has been removed in the midfoot to reduce weight for a lighter feel. The new flex groove design allows the foot to move more naturally through the gait cycle, while increasing surface area for better grip and traction on the surface below.
