Breathable Textile Upper

For effective air circulation around the entirety of the foot, the textile upper of the Nitro Elite 3 spikes have strategically placed perforations for maximised breathability. Allowing for warm air to escape, making room for fresh, cool air in turn. The upper has been designed using a 360 degree, one piece construct to minimise irritation, allowing runners to go barefoot if preferred. The toe is rounded for better stability over uneven surfaces, allowing toes to splay as you stride forwards, minimising the chance of injury due to loss of stability. While the traditional lacing system provides effective midfoot lockdown while securing the fit.

NITROFOAM Elite Midsole with PWRPLATE

A full length Pebax NITROFOAM Midsole ensures even more response and cushioning in a lighter package. The foam assists in absorbing shock from the unforgiving ground below as your strike down, before releasing the pressure within your following stride, helping to boost you forward with propulsive energy. Also protecting your feet from possible injury of the unexpected terrains you may cover, stopping rocks and sticks from knocking you off balance and keeping confidence high. An internal PWRPLATE sits within the foam, maximising propulsive energy and improving overall performance, including toe-offs. This is a full length carbon plate in the shape of a spoon, levering your forwards, keeping motivation high. Atop the midsole is a Pebax sockliner, this has been sewn to the Strobel board for better comfort and cushioning, this is great for barefoot runners for a sock like fit.

6 Pin PEBAX Outsole

A full length Pebax Plate is exposed in the forefoot to provide extra grip over various terrains, the 6 sharp pin design offers long lasting grip and propulsion. The spikes work effectively, helping you bite down into both wet and dry surfaces as you build speed and confidence in strong footing. With spikes being primarily focused in the forefoot area of the outsole, to maximise propulsion and traction. The plate itself offers a snappy and responsive ride, working alongside the midsole to promote more bounce in your run. Promoting better toe-offs and clean guidance through a stable stride, the plate is also highly durable, helping to protect the base of your foot from possible injury as you cover rocky or wooded ground. The HEEL CRASH PAD, completes the outsole, with an added TPU material on the heel, improving heel durability and offering traction in times of need.
