Salomon X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX Men's Walking Shoes

Based on a legacy of iconic X Ultra shoes, it delivers all-terrain grip, stability and protection, however, you choose to adventure. Featuring a cushioned midsole for kilometre-defying comfort, waterproof GORE-TEX protection and a robust textile upper made from recycled materials.

Textile Upper

Constructed from a textile upper, the Salomon X Ultra 360 keeps water at bay so you can walk with confidence no matter the weather. The durable upper offers a wide range of protection to help you get the maximum from your footwear. To avoid damp feet, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling. GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you cool and comfy. A textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. A Sensifit system cradles the foot, providing a precise and secure fit, while the gusseted tongue sits comfortably against the skin and prevents debris from entering inside the shoe. Protection is key while out on the trails, so don't worry when wearing the X Ultra 360 as it features a protective heel cap for rearfoot stability and a protective rubber toe cap to enhance protection from loose or sharp rocks. Finishing off the upper is the mudguard, a protective material around the base of the shoe to help reduce the build-up of mud. A Quicklace system allows you to quickly and easily adjust the fit, whilst a lace pocket prevents any distractions whilst on the go. The upper features up to 50% recycled materials, making the X Ultra 360 a more conscious option.

EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA, which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole provides both comfort and protection, thanks to dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step. The higher in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. Between the outsole and the midsole, there is an Advanced Chassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimise stability without limiting your mobility while also keeping the front of the shoe flexible for a more fluid ride.

Contagrip Outsole

The Salomon X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX features a Contagrip outsole, providing unique traction technology and all-terrain grip. Contagrip is built for the widest variety of surfaces. It balances both the geometry and the rubber compound to deliver confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces, and offer long-term durability. The outsole grips the terrain, even when wet or slippery, enhancing control even on descents. When you are moving on wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground and anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by forming a solid base to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
