Deuter Trail 23 SL Women's Backpack

The Trail backpack is designed to be comfortable and highly breathable for high effort activities.

Designed with women in mind, the Trail 23 SL backpack features a shortened back length to adapt to the female anatomy better. Working alongside the Active Fit technology, the shoulder straps are designed to ensure the load stays comfortable during long hikes and has a soft edge finish for minimal irritation through wear. Designed around a flexible Delrin U-frame, the back panelling has a lightweight and flexible tensioned U-frame internal support rod; this helps stabilise and distribute a portion of the weight on your back. Deuter's Airstripe technology is incorporated into the back panelling, promoting effective airflow by minimising the contact area between the back and the bag. With special ventilation channels running between the breathable 3D mesh, airflow is generated across 80% of the back. To centralise the backpack for a more supported fit, a two-way adjustable sternum strap has been included in the design; this strap works in tandem with the waist belt that has padded mesh hip fins for an ergonomic fit against the waist, easily tuck the fins within the bag when not in use.

For quick access into the backpack, the main compartment has a wide opening allowing you to view all essentials. Within the main compartment is an inner elastic compartment for wet and sweaty clothes or a hydration system up to 3L (not included), along with another compartment for valuables, while a top compartment allows you to store small valuables. On the exterior of the bag, side stretch pockets allow you to add water bottles, while a front stretch pocket allows you to quickly stash jackets and layers when on the move, and two attachment points allow you to hold ice axes. An SOS label has been implemented into the design in an emergency, and finally, a rain cover has been included for protection from heavy downpours.
