Technical Mesh Upper with GORE-TEX Membrane

Made from a technical mesh construction, the Trabuco 13 GORE-TEX ensures feet stay warm, without overheating, so you can enjoy every part of the trail without being distracted. The shoe's technical mesh material helps prevent heat build-up and uncomfortable feet during intense sessions. They allow air to flow freely through the shoes, providing breathability. The upper is soft for maximum comfort against the skin. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane delivers highly breathable waterproof protection to keep feet dry from the inside out. ASICS has included a sand guard on the shoes. This is a protective covering that prevents sand and other debris from entering while running on the trail. A traditional lace-up system keeps your foot secure, reducing in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides. The shoes include a lace holder that helps keep the laces in place, preventing them from loosening or getting in the way of your run. At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.

FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco Midsole

The Gel-Trabuco 13 GORE-TEX has been constructed using FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco cushioning, providing the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce and comfort provide unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently and for longer without worrying that your shoes might not be able to take it. The Eco Foam features 20% more foam compared to the standard FlyteFoam Blast Plus Foam. The foam is made from at least 20% bio-based material from renewable sources, like waste from sugar cane processing. The midsole also includes PureGEL in the rear foot, which absorbs the impact of each foot strike and provides a smoother transition as your foot rolls. This helps conserve energy and provides soft and bouncy cushioning. Completing the midsole is the EVA sockliner, which increases underfoot cushioning for longer trail runs.

ASICSGRIP Outsole

Completing the shoes is ASICS' proprietary outsole rubber that provides high grip on various terrains, without compromising durability. The ASICSGRIP Outsole provides improved grip on a range of surfaces, wet or dry, for fast, confident footing. The lugged outsole pattern features ASICSGRIP rubber while incorporating an uphill and downhill lug pattern on the lateral and medial side of the shoe to improve traction on slippery terrain. A rock protection plate helps the outsole stay flexible and shields the foot from abrupt terrain or trail debris.
