Engineered Mesh Upper

The GT-1000 15 features a new engineered mesh upper, which reduces the need for additional overlays, therefore ensuring ample in-shoe comfort and a reliable running experience. The mesh structure wraps comfortably around your foot, keeping it secure, and with strategic perforations, the materials allow a consistent level of airflow to keep feet cool under pressure. Removing unwanted warm air and replacing it with cool, fresh air, the uppers keep you focused on what's ahead and have quick-drying properties to stop you from overheating under pressure and on long miles. Soft and smooth against your skin, the reduced seams prevent irritation or chafing when you're on the move. A cushioned collar and soft tongue sit comfortably against your foot, keeping you well-contained and ready to tackle every mile. Working alongside this, traditional laces allow you to lock down the midfoot to reduce the risks of in-shoe slipping and ensure you get the perfect fit.

FF BLAST Midsole

For the perfect combination of plush cushioning and optimum stability, the shoes utilise an FF Blast midsole alongside a 3D Guidance System. Softening your every stride and providing ample energy return for responsive runs, the FF Blast compound ensures cloud-like comfort underfoot, keeping you focused on your next split. With excellent shock absorption, the foam absorbs impact when your feet plant firmly during long runs and training sessions, helping reduce the risk of injury or discomfort. For adaptive on-demand stability, the 3D Guidance System comprises 3 components that support runners by adapting to changes in foot movement caused by fatigue. This encourages smooth heel-to-toe transitions by guiding your foot forward. Adding to your comfort, the softer, updated rearfoot GEL technology sits in the heel to absorb impact for responsive, bouncy strides. AHAR LO and AHARPLUS Rubber Outsole

To optimise grip and traction underfoot, the GT-1000 15 utilises the perfect combination of durable rubbers. An AHAR LO rubber construction uses hard rubber placed in areas that are usually high wearing, to keep you secure with the ground below, therefore amplifying your grip on a range of road running surfaces, without sacrificing durability. ASICS' high abrasion resistant rubber also works with the outsole. Located in the heel area, the rubber is extremely durable (three times more than standard rubber outsoles) for long-lasting reliability and provides you with extra traction where you need it most.
