The lightweight design of the ASICS Gel-Volley Elite 2 MT Court Shoes are built with every second in mind. Without restriction, sudden sharp movements can be carried out without anything to hold you back. As well as this the mesh is breathable, providing airflow and ventilation to the feet. Tough and durable, the upper construction is designed to withstand strong forces, meaning you won't be let down, meaning that sudden changes of direction in your volleyball game are supported. The asymmetrical lacing is strong and easy to adapt to the perfect fit without feeling too tight.
The Impact Guidance System is a series of interdependent and linked components, working to address all forces and work with the foot to reach the maximum gain from the intended move. Within the midsole, the shoe uses ASICS Gel Cushioning System, absorbing sudden impacts, as well as being springy. A PHF heel, a technology developed by ASICS gives the heel and achilles support, as well as decreasing slippage within the shoe for a firm fit. The midsole is designed to reduce the impact on the heels, knees and spine of the athlete.
As it is a volleyball shoe, the main purpose of the outsole is to supply it with a solid grip which will keep you in control on the court. The hold provided by the rubber is faultless, even when exposed to water or sweat on the court. Flex grooves within the sole are durable, providing long-lasting traction.
