BLUE ICE Octopus 35 Backpack

Built for day-in, day-out cragging and for all rock climbing enthusiasts, this pack is ultra-versatile, lightweight and extremely comfortable to carry.

Made from mostly recycled materials, the Octopus 35 is a durable and reliable bag; with foam lining and a coated bottom panel, it is especially susceptible to damage with built-in additional toughness. Optimised to carry heavy loads, the carry system has a structured back panel that supports you along lengthy journeys, while the shoulder straps have been redesigned with an improved fit and comfort and feature an adjustable sternum strap that centralises the weight for increased balance. A padded waist belt also improves the fit; the waist belt can be stashed within the back panel when not in use. For wide, easy packing, the backpack has a back panel zip opening that allows you to access and view all your gear at once, with a stretch mesh pocket within to securely hold your climbing shoes separate from the rest, alongside a top zip pocket that holds small essentials and has a built-in key clip. Several other storage points can be found on the bag, including a side mesh pocket for a water bottle, an outer zip pocket for accessible snacks when suited up and a stashed rope strap to secure your rope into place. Top and bottom grab handles help you carry the pack with ease, alongside extra carry handles that let you carry the bag while open; these handles also double as loops to hook gear onto.

A rope tarp is also included with the bag, allowing you to quickly stash rope and move it around. With a hybrid design between a rope tarp and a rope bag, this has a shoe wipe panel that doubles as Velcro for versatile use, for you to pack the rope up and put it into the bag, keeping it separate from your other gear.
