Maurten Gel Mix 480

Maurten Gel Mix 480 is a carbohydrate fuel for endurance sport based on Hydrogel Technology. It contains 120 grams of carbohydrates when combined with 200 ml of water. A different hydrogel fueling format with a texture thicker than Drink Mix and looser than the Gel - Gel Mix 480 can be adjusted to personal taste by combining with Additions.

Designed for fueling with Gel Mix Flask 350 ml to carry in a running vest, waist belt, or back pocket - equipped with a SpeedFill™ cap for fast refills and a bite valve to consume easily.

Gel Mix 480 gives athletes more access to training and racing with Hydrogel Technology. A flask-driven fueling system for athletes exercising with intent - the duration and distance of a long session or race, the frequency of a sustained training block. Because consistency matters, Gel Mix 480 offers an additional hydrogel fueling format to ensure that more sessions and races are fueled fully. The texture is thicker than Drink Mix and looser than the Gel. Each sachet contains 120 grams of carbohydrates when dissolved in 200 ml of water.

It is pH-sensitive. It behaves like Drink Mix, becoming a true gel in the acidity of the stomach. This change encapsulates the carbohydrates, carrying them through the stomach to be absorbed, making fueling for sports easier.

There are no added flavours, preservatives, or colours. For texture variation, and to overcome the limitation of flavor fatigue, it can be combined with Maurten Additions - Cola, Menthol, Orange, or Apple. Gel Mix 480 is designed to be mixed and consumed with Gel Mix Flask 350 ml and can be stored in a fridge for up to 72 hours.

Over longer duration and longer distance, the more your body will depend on the fuel you consume. Gel Mix 480 is for the efforts that demand more - the weeks that demand consistency. 120 grams of carbohydrates per sachet gives athletes greater fueling support, flexibility, and control.

Gel Mix 480 is designed to be used with Gel Mix Flask 350 ml. The soft flask is equipped with a SpeedFill™ cap for fast refills, a 200 ml fill line for water, and a bite valve for fueling easily over challenging terrain. Made to fit in a running vest, waist belt, or back pocket. Other soft flasks or bottles can be used with Gel Mix 480 but are not optimal.
