LightSpray Upper

An innovative version of the Cloudboom Strike, the LightSpray uppers are On's game-changing technology for optimum comfort and confidence through long miles and on race day. In just three minutes, a robot weaves a seamless upper from a single 1.5km, which reduces weight and delivers a second-skin fit, meaning there's no need for laces, to provide a distraction-free running experience. For minimal effect in a lightweight compound, the LightSpray uppers will ensure sliding around in the shoes is prevented, and you stay confident during tough miles. Working wth this, the shoes include the Elite Run Socks High Hyper, delivering unmatched synergy with the LightSpray shoes.

CloudTec Sphere Midsole

A major evolution to the LightSpray Cloudboom Strike, this 2nd generation shoe utilises a newly designed CloudTec Sphere foam through the midsole to enhance your performance. Unique to On's collection, the midsole features engineered cushioning channels which help to enhance comfort and optimise running efficiency, whilst ensuring speed and endurance are at the forefront of the construction. Absorbing impact during tough miles, the cushioning propels you into each step and helps to reduce the risks of injury by returning energy, for a fresh-leg advantage when racing. Working alongside this, the Helion HF compound is 15% lighter than its predecessor and even more resilient, for a lightweight, long-lasting experience whilst providing even more energy return. Sandwiched between this plush cushioning is a Carbon Speedboard, for a snappy, propulsive underfoot feel. The curved carbon Speedboard is even lighter, stiffer than its predecessors and enhances forward momentum during every stride. Atop this exceptionally soft, comfortable midsole design, the removeable top midsole adds even more softness and a responsive ride. Finally, the thin gap between the forefoot and the midfoot allows the midsole to adapt to your movement more freely, flexing in multiple directions for smooth heel-to-toe transitions.
