Hit the trail in any forecast with this protective waterproof shell, made with robust, breathable 3-layer Pertex Shield fabric.
Equipped for demanding mountain hikes and scrambles in uncertain weather, the Firewall Jacket offers 3-layer waterproof and windproof protection to keep the elements at bay. Made with robust 40D Pertex Shield fabric, it's built to survive scuffs from rock and pack abrasion, yet is highly breathable and comfortable. When you're gaining elevation in a turbulent forecast, this protective shell is prepared for anything in your path. Seal out the weather with the single-sided adjustable anti-snag hem and Velcro cuffs, which extend over the back of your hands for added protection, and adjust the highly protective hood with one hand, while the stiffened peak keeps rain off your face. Underarm vents improve airflow control, while the YKK front zip with external and internal storm guards and a snap closure make on/off easy. You can stash snacks or a compass within easy reach thanks to the two zipped hand pockets.
