Salomon Ultra Glide 4 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Ease into the Ultra Glide 4 and feel the difference. The latest version of Salomon's most comfortable trail running shoe is now even lighter and more breathable, delivering a more dynamic, performance-enhancing ride and cooler feet in hot or humid conditions. With improved durability, you'll rack up the miles comfortably.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Ultra Glide 4 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing heat to escape and providing you with cool, fresh feet. The material also protects the foot from discomfort and reduces the possibility of distractions when racking up the miles. The shoes include Salomon's endoFit system, an internal sleeve that hugs the foot in exactly the right places, providing a precise fit for minimised movement when traversing down and up hills. This is complemented by a padded tongue and collar that purposely sits close to the skin to reduce movement and stop dirt and debris from entering the shoe, while a quickLACE system has been utilised for simple and quick use, allowing you to tighten them in one movement while never loosening unexpectedly for complete confidence in wear.

optiFOAM Midsole

Built on a springy and comfortable midsole compound that delivers punch and pop while smoothing out your landings for a fluid ride, the Ultra Glide provides lightweight and responsive cushioning. optiFOAM is a lightweight, springy and resilient foam compound that powers your stride forward. This lightweight, responsive foam delivers a maximum level of cushioning to ensure optimum in-shoe comfort and a responsive ride. Shock-absorbing properties prevent discomfort or injury by absorbing impact when striking tough surfaces.

All Terrain contaGRIP Outsole

Designed to provide you with the best grip over unpredictable terrain, the Salomon contaGRIP outsole has been utilised for complete control on the rough. The rubber is hard-wearing to repeated smackdowns, supporting you as the miles build up with a strong structure to boost your confidence in every step. The deep lugs can anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you in place while forming a solid base to push off from. This has been paired with Salomon's relieveSPHERE. A distinctive, wavy geometry specifically designed to diffuse pressure and to break down repeated underfoot impact for enhanced, durable comfort. The combination of outsole technologies makes this shoe trustworthy on a wide variety of surfaces, making the Salomon Ultra Glide 4 the perfect long-lasting running companion for any trail.
