The Altamesa 500 V2 Trail Running Shoes are everyday trail shoes for runners of all levels and abilities. Show the trail who is boss.
The upper has been constructed from seamless engineered mesh for highly ventilated, chafe-free comfort. The plush heel cup and collar provide high-level comfort and heel lockdown, working in conjunction with the lacing system (with serrated racing laces) to securely anchor the shoe to your foot. Further enhancing the fit, a comfortable padded tongue with internal wings also aids in lockdown and is integrated into the internal dust liner to keep out debris. A reinforced and protective toe cap and dual midfoot webbing reinforcements keep feet shielded and supported. The pull-tab at the heel allows for ease of entry.
DREAM midsole foam is an innovative cushioning technology that offers an incredibly lightweight, soft and bouncy underfoot experience with great resiliency throughout the life of the shoe. It cushions your joints as you strike down and converts the energy into rebounds to propel you forward, allowing you to run further, faster, using less energy. This is combined with the dynamic stability zone in the forefoot, which is designed to provide inherent stability on the trail, allowing you greater confidence out on the trail. Broad base nets further assist stability.
Designed to be hardwearing and grippy, the Altamesa 500 V2s have been developed using the signature SURFACE CTRL Rubber Outsole. This bio-based outsole rubber compound has been specially designed to ensure superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only this, but it also ensures multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces and withstands even the toughest trails, whilst being flexible enough to adapt to multiple terrains, providing you with complete control. The durable rubber protects itself from damage and protects users from losing control. It is designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest trails. 4mm lugs bite into the earth, helping you with quick, decisive moves when hurtling up and down hill and turning at speed.
