Designed for frequent trips to the great outdoors, the Lightning Zip-In Jacket is a lightweight waterproof shell that provides breathable protection from wind and rain.
Featuring The North Face's DryVent 2L technology, the Lightning Zip-In jacket provides you with waterproof and windproof wear. The material is seam sealed for complete waterproofing, all the while being highly breathable for enhanced comfort and freshness. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish has been added so rain and poor weather are effectively blocked from entering time and time again. The jacket can usefully be combined with specific North Face products (specified in features) by simply zipping the jacket directly to a fleece, jacket or vest. An adjustable hood effectively blocks rain from getting in, with points on the rear and front to streamline the fit and a stiff peak to ensure vision is not sacrificed. Pit zips can be found under either arm for super quick and easy ventilation on the move, while seams within the arms have been shaped to accommodate elbows for easy movements. To block wet and windy weather, the hem has hidden stoppers, and the cuffs have VELCRO tabs for simple adjustments regardless of where you are. Finally, secure zipped hand pockets can be found on either side to hold small items safely.
