Featuring the fit of our famous barefoot collection, this versatile hybrid with aggressive rubber sole is designed to mimic the shape of the human foot, keeping it in the position it would be in barefoot for natural, optimised movement and comfort.
Experience ultimate comfort and durability thanks to the leather upper of the Wrapt Mid. This leather is naturally breathable, whilst also providing robust protection against any hazards out on the trail, such as loose rocks, branches and debris. A waterproof membrane seals out water, meaning you can take these shoes anywhere in confidence, whilst also allowing moisture and heat build up to escape, so you're protected against moisture from the inside and out. The breathable mesh lining allows for excellent ventilation so feet can breathe, meaning you stay fresh and focussed, whilst the bellows tongue provides even further protection against debris, sealing out dirt and gravel. The metal hook traditional lace closure allows for a secure fit, ensuring stability and control.
Developed to provide traction and grip, the Wrapt Mid has been constructed using a durable rubber compound. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're hiking or out for a leisurely stroll in the local park. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the Wrapt Mid will perform time and time again. The outsole enables confidence in the most extreme trail environments to keep you grounded at all times. The Wrapt Mid has been designed with the Merrell Barefoot 2 construction to keep the foot in it's natural 'barefoot' position for optimised movement and comfort, whilst also allowing for greater proprioception.
