Synthetic overlays provide added protection whilst a lace closure system helps to provide a locked-down fit. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a climaproof membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but climaproof keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, at a tolerable temperature. PrimaLoft insulation cradles the feet and ankles in thermal comfort; with a high warmth-to-weight ratio, it gives you a cosiness that doesn't compromise the spring in your step. Additionally, climawarm enriched fabric generously lines the inside of the boot; using hollow fibres to trap warm air and provide you with an extra layer of snug, next-to-skin protection from encroaching bitter weather.
