adidas Alphaedge 4D Running Shoes

These futuristic running shoes have a design guided by years of athlete data. Made for cross training, they have a stretchy knit upper with strategically placed stitching to provide support where you need it most. The one-piece midsole has a unique open structure for responsive performance.

Forged Mesh Upper

Constructed using a forged mesh, the upper of the Alphaedge 4D Running Shoes provides an abundance of flexibility, breathability and support. Designed using research based on Aramis insights, the mesh has been specifically engineered to provide more support in places its need the most and less support in areas where free movement is important. Not only do the perforations determine levels of support they also work to increase ventilation so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh allows cool air to circulate inside the shoe whilst, at the same time allowing hot muggy air to escape; creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. A secure, locked in fit is achieved through the lace closure system which ensures support and reduces in shoe slippage. Updated from the previous version, this Alphaedge now comes with reflective detailing ensuring that you can be seen in low-light conditions. Lastly, a heel tab provides an easy on/off experience.

High Performance 4D Midsole

Designed to control and create energy, adidas' 4d midsole provides high-performance comfort. Programmed with 17 years of athlete data, the midsole ensures stability, support, cushioning and comfort as you power through your workout. A heel zone provides optimum cushioning which works to absorb impacts and shocks. When the heel strikes the ground the added cushioning disperses shocks, reducing the impact on the foot and allowing you to remain injury free for longer. Additionally, a forefoot zone is structured to enhance forward motion; when your toes hit the track the zone helps to propel you forward increasing energy and allowing you to achieve new personal bests. Lastly, a transition zone ensures a smoother heel to toe transition for a more dynamic ride.

Continental Rubber Outsole

A Continental Rubber outsole completes the Alphaedge 4D Running Shoes, supplying biting and resilient grip. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber offers traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuses not to run. It also works to lessen the impact on your feet, minimising the risk of injury and improving performance.
