<p>The upper of the adidas Terrex Free Hiker has been constructed using a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to keep your feet dry and protected as you take on the trail. GORE-TEX works tirelessly to shed water, whilst retaining breathable properties to improve comfort and airflow. Assisting the GORE-TEX membrane is a Primeknit material, encasing each foot in breathable comfort. Supplying flexible support, Primeknit increases ventilation and eradicates the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. The seamless, sock-like construction provides an irritation-free fit because we recognise how rubbing and blisters can ruin your day. Light in weight and designed with motion in mind, Primeknit adapts to the changing shape of your foot through the gait cycle. The breathable Primknit construction is also highly water-resistant and works to protect the feet during light showers. The ultra-thin film coats the upper to repel water; keeping you dry and comfortable in a variety of bad weather conditions. Abrasion-resistant reinforcement adorn the upper and ensure a trail-worthy state; improving support and durability,  they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-boot slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. The moulded TPU toe cap exists to ensures toe protection against rouged and loose terrain whilst a heel cap promotes a natural fit; allowing for optimal movement of the Achilles while still providing support. Lastly, padding around the heel and ankles ensures an abundance of cushioning that ensures long-lasting comfort.</p>
