adidas Supernova Prima Running Shoes
The Supernova Prima is an everyday essential designed for the dedicated runner. Made in part with a blend of recycled and renewable materials, these shoes are as committed to sustainability as they are to performance. They feature a comfortable textile upper and a durable rubber outsole, ensuring you're ready to tackle every run with confidence and comfort.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing a comfortable layer of protection, the Supernova Prima has a lightweight mesh upper construction. The mesh fabrics ensure that the shoes have a sock-like fit and provide exceptional airflow to keep your feet cool whilst ensuring they are comfortable and encased. The shoes provide a flexible feel with support in key areas, and perforation to provide a constant supply of fresh air for your feet to thrive. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort. The lining sits comfortably against the skin reducing the risks of chafing and irritation. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that secures the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Dreamstrike+ Midsole
Featuring adidas' new Dreamstrike+ technology, the midsole of the Supernova Prima is lightweight and durable, perfect for everyday running. This new power foam has been tuned to offer comfort and support throughout your run. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving concrete, keeping you comfortable mile after mile. Paired with Support Rods, the adidas Supernova Prima helps to ensure an optimal level of support and smooth transitions.
Lighttraxion Outsole
Providing you with lightweight grip and traction on various terrains and surfaces, the shoes have a grippy Lighttraxion outsole, which adds stability to your run. The rubber compound offers an optimal balance of amazing abrasion resistance, traction and flexibility to create ultimate high-wear durability. Not only this but it works alongside the midsole to ensure a cushioned, comfortable and grippy pair of shoes that you can rely on for the long run. This full-length outsole provides grip without adding weight, keeping you free to move.
By choosing recycled, adidas can reuse materials that have already been created, which helps to reduce waste. Renewable material choices help them to remove their reliance on finite resources. Their products made with a blend of recycled and renewable materials feature in at least 20% of these materials.
