Lightlock Upper

Enhancing in-shoe comfort and increased durability, the Adizero Adios Pro 4 uses a Lightlock upper that supplies exceptional comfort and performance. The upper uses both textile and synthetic materials to provide optimised breathability, helping to prevent overheating and ensuring the perfect level of comfort. The materials are highly durable to help keep feet protected from knocks and bumps on your run ensuring you have a reliable running companion. Not only this, but the materials are flexible to allow feet to move and bend comfortably, whilst a performance tongue features additional padding by the laces to help alleviate irritation caused by rubbing to enhance comfort. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down your foot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy every stride.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

Designed to provide complete comfort from the moment you put them on till you take them off, the Adizero Adios Pro 4 have been constructed using Lightstrike Pro Cushioning. This midsole consists of two layers of resilient Lightstrike Pro foam that spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. These two foam layers, provide the best experience for the runner during racing and training. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs. Embedded in the midsole is optimised ENERGYRODS 2.0 which supports your foot as you run and propels you forward to give you an extra spring in your step. This technology is all in one piece for harmonious stiffness and energy return and works alongside a new rocker point which helps to improve running efficiency.

Continental and LIGHTTRAXION Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Continental and LIGHTTRAXION rubber outsole, the Adizero Adios Pro 4 ensures extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber on the forefoot supplies you with an amazing and secure toe-off on uneven surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The rubber construction of the outsole is highly durable, resisting wear as it comes into contact with the ground for longer-lasting wear. LIGHTTRAXION rubber also features on the outsole to provide optimal traction whilst reducing weight to help you take corners fast, so you can achieve your best performance.
