adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 Men's Running Shoes

Proven to be the world's most-winning shoe, the Adizero Adios Pro line is the pinnacle of Adizero Racing shoes. The Adios Pro 4 is made for fast runners who want to experience faster, with enhanced features designed to optimise running efficiency.

Lightlock Upper

Designed to naturally contour your foot, the upper on the Adizero Adios Pro 4 is made up of a 1-way stretch material, providing optimised performance and comfort over the finish line. This is achieved by effectively locking the foot down and preventing unnecessary movement or slippage within the shoe. The material is also ultra lightweight, keeping the overall mass of the shoe low for better performance while also being thin enough for high breathability. The Adios Pro 4s also feature a performance tongue to give you the best comfort during longer distances, the tongue is cushioned to reduce irritation when moving, the tongue being gusseted further aids problem free runs by reducing tongue slippage and the overall structure of the shoes. An inner textile lining has been added to provide comfort in-shoe. The lining holds moisture-wicking properties, keeping moisture from building up around the foot and minimising irritation from possible friction. To get you up and on the go with ease, a useful heel tab has also been added to the back of the shoe while a traditional lacing system provides a quick and easy secure fit by effectively locking the midfoot down.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

Showcasing incredible durability and ultra plush feel, the Lightstrike Pro foam provides runners with a nimble and bouncy spring in every stride. Being consistently reliable underfoot, this foam will give you the confidence to reach PBs through sure footing and high energy return. Shock is effectively absorbed through the midsole as you strike down hard on unforgiving surfaces, protecting your joints from impact. This is then released through propulsive movements, launching you forwards. Muscle fatigue is greatly reduced as pressure is taken away from the feet and calves to keep you feeling light and motivated. Utilising their ENERGYRODS 2.0 technology for added stability and support underfoot, adidas deliver dynamic flexibility and increased stiffness for effective toe-offs. By combining the foam and rods, performance becomes energy efficient and super responsive while also giving users a elite and weightless feel. An updated rocker point in the Pro 4s keeps midfoot and forefoot strikers with more efficient heel to toe transitions, keeping your energy conserved and focused on your goals.

Lighttraxion Outsole and Continental Rubber

With an expert balance between weight and grip, the outsole on the Adios Pro 4s perfects cornering and toe-offs and lets you focus on peak performance. Using pressure mapping data, adidas have strategically positioned rubber around the key areas of the underfoot to ensure ultimate control. The Lighttraxion outsole is reduced in thickness to keep the weight down and speed up, effectively helping you corner with ease. Working collaboratively alongside the Continental rubber, this provides precision grip to ensure solid toe-offs every time with a focused patch of rubber.
