Synthetic and Textile Upper

Offering a comfortable layer of protection, the Adizero Evo SL has been designed using a synthetic and textile upper. The fabrication delivers a sock-like fit, providing young feet with an exceptional flow of air to keep feet cool while also ensuring feet are comfortable and encased. The shoes provide your child with a flexible feel with support in key areas, and perforations supply fresh air for feet to thrive. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort; the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risk of chafing and irritation. A padded collar sits closely to the foot to further enhance comfort, while the flat-laying tongue further reduces the chance of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks the midfoot for a secure fit.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

adidas' signature Lightstrike Pro technology has been embedded into the Adizero Evo SL. The Lightstrike Pro foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike to toe-off. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your child's foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When the heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy; as your child transitions through to mid-stance, the midsole relaxes and releases the stored energy, which propels them forward with an explosive take-off. The midsole also spares their joints as they strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces and propels them forward to provide them with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports their feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible.

Durable Rubber Outsole

Manufactured from durable rubber, the outsole completes the Adizero Evo SL with a superior grip and a smooth transition through the gait cycle. The outsole features Continental rubber on the forefoot and durable rubber on the heel to supply optimal traction on wet and dry surfaces. Finally, the outsole is designed to be just as durable as the Lightstrike midsole, ensuring a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe.
