100% RPET Ripstop Mesh Upper

Created with a recycled ripstop mesh upper (100% PFC-free), the Lone Peak 9 Mid offers more durability, protecting it from bumps and scrapes on the trail while its hiking boot design offers added support. This upper is also highly breathable, allowing vapour and built-up heat to escape keeping your feet cool, dry and comfortable even when your hike heats up. Working with the durable and breathable ripstop mesh upper is a Hydroguard by Cosmo waterproof lining that helps to keep feet feeling dry and comfortable when the weather takes a turn, allowing you to stay out there. The boots have a durable no-sew overlay cage and toe cap for increased protection and high mileage. Altra's Original Footshape Fit provides room for your toes and space in the midfoot, giving a familiar Altra feel. The boots feature a mid-cut design that offers increased ankle support over uneven terrain. Finishing the boots uppers is a lacing system that provides a more secure fit across the forefoot, reducing in-shoe slipping whilst heel loops make transporting muddy boots indoors quick and easy. Webbing ghillie loop integration at the lacing and a reinforced heel further improve the fit.

Featuring updated, lighter Altra EGO midsole foam, this new iteration of the Lone Peak provides exceptional comfort and connection to the ground for a stable but flexible and well-cushioned ride. With a stack height of 25mm, the Lone Peak 9 offers the perfect amount of cushioning and durability in the midsole for a comfortable feel on any trail. The midsole contains many features that provide the boot with extremely responsive rebound and cushioning sitting directly underneath the foot, reducing ground impact and returning the energy as a spring for each step taken. Thanks to Altra's Balanced Cushioning platform underfoot, the heel and the forefoot are the same distance from the ground, encouraging proper low-impact form. Lastly, Stoneguard technology protects your foot on the trail, over rocks, debris and tough terrain. This helps to keep feet stable, flexible and protected throughout your adventure.

Offering increased grip and stickiness with more durability than before, no matter the weather you can tackle wet and dry trails with ease. The durable rubber provides the perfect grip and traction, making volatile surfaces incredibly easy to defeat. The Trailclaw lugs underneath are strategically positioned beneath the metatarsals, making toe-offs and sudden bursts count.
