ASICS Gel-Excite 9 GS Junior Running Shoes

The GEL-EXCITE 9 GS (Grade School) shoe is formed with energized design details. This shoe offers high-quality breathability with fewer layers on the upper to reduce irritation in the forefoot. Durable properties, like the toe rubber stitching and solid rubber outsole are designed to expand the shoe's lifespan.

Breathable Mesh Upper

The breathable mesh surrounding the upper of the ASICS Gel-Excite 9 Running Shoes will keep your feet comfortable, allowing cool air to permeate and preventing an intolerable build-up of heat. Moisture from sweat is also able to escape out of the shoe, whilst liquid on the surface of the material is wicked away instantly, keeping the shoes at their lightweight feel. No-sew overlays improve support whilst reducing the overall weight and providing excellent durability. A moulded heel section will ensure the rearfoot will always be held in a comfortable and upright position, keeping you more centred on the shoe's platform, offering an even better fit than the previous model. A traditional lacing system will allow you to find a firm and comfortable fit all the way up the feet, guaranteeing a personalised and non-restrictive fit. A padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation from rubbing, whilst also enhancing comfort.

EVA Midsole

The midsole technology consists of an EVA cushioning which is engineered to maintain durability at softer densities, providing better flexibility, comfort and platform adaptability ideal for natural running. Lightweight and resilient, the cushioning spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. In addition, a rearfoot gel cushioning system resides in the heel to provide exceptional shock absorption from impact forces during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle. The gel spares your joints from unforgiving surfaces as you pound in the miles. Additionally, there is a removable Ortholite sockliner which will provide you with personalised cushioning, making mile after mile feel exceptionally comfortable. Equipped with Guidance Line technology, the Gel-Excite 9 helps the foot experience a more natural and consistent stride.

Injection Rubber Outsole

An injection rubber outsole adds lightness and improves durability, while the strategically placed flex grooves are more flexible when you're running or wearing casually throughout the day. The durable rubber used on the outsole of the shoe is abrasion-resistant to prevent any damage from occurring over a long period of time exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers higher densities in high impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce the wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer.
