Combining ASICS' familiar footwear technologies with a versatile design suited for running workouts and coffee runs alike, the Gel-Sileo 3 are a great addition to your running wardrobe.
Generating high levels of airflow so feet can remain comfortable and cool, no matter the pace or activity you're undergoing, the Gel-Sileo 3s utilise a primarily mesh upper construction. This provides feet with unrivalled comfort and cool sensations, and with strategically placed perforations that allow a constant layer of fresh air to your feet. Not only this, but the shoes prevent an uncomfortable build-up of moisture, meaning irritation and abrasion are reduced to a minimum, therefore ensuring feet are dry throughout. Additionally, the shoes have synthetic leather overlays, which protect your shoes and feet from becoming affected by knocks and bumps, dirt and debris, as well as, provide a supportive fit. Finally, a traditional lace-up closure provides you with locked-in, secure feel and helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring during training.
A platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in their step. Embedded within this midsole platform is a Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System; implemented to attenuate shock, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.
A durable rubber outsole completes the Gel-Sileo, supplying durable plus reliable grip across every road or track. The rubber is able to withstand damage from uneven terrain to give you added confidence when out running. In addition to this, the rubber can create a solid bond of friction with a variety of different surfaces, crucial for control as you race around the roads. This will reduce the risk of injury from slipping or rolling your ankle, as you will be held in a firm and upright position.
