Lightweight Woven Upper

Keeping the Fuji Lite 5 as lightweight as possible, the woven uppers utilised in constructing these shoes supply feet with constant airflow, ensuring a cool and fresh wearing experience. The uppers have perforations, which work by allowing air to travel freely and pass through the shoes to reduce overheating and keep you comfortable during intense trail running endeavours. The woven design also reduces the number of components, meaning less waste during production, but also provides you with a seamless, irritation-free experience, meaning you can concentrate on the trail ahead. Durable overlays feature on the uppers to provide a supportive, stable feel. The toe bumper protects feet and toes from knocks and bumps when traversing unstable, rocky grounds. To provide a locked-in, secure fit, the shoes feature a lace eyelet construction, helping prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring. Working alongside this is a lace garage tongue to keep laces stowed away, so they don't come untied or snag anything when running. Finally, the Fuji Lite 5 has reflective details which help improve visibility when on the trails in low-light conditions.

FF Blast Midsole

Positioned through the midsole to provide lightweight impact absorption and excellent underfoot cushioning, the shoes utilise an FF Blast midsole. This compound consists of cellulose nanofibres, a bio-based material, applied as a component of the shoe's midsole. Additionally, it keeps feet comfortable when running across a range of terrain by absorbing any impact that occurs when striking down on hard and unforgiving surfaces, which helps to reduce the risks of injury or discomfort on the trails. The cushioning also rebounds energy, adding a spring to your step for soft, bouncy comfort.

Formed using a lightweight outsole construction, the Fuji Lite 5 utilises ASICS' unique ASICSGRIP construction to keep you lightweight underfoot, yet with an outstanding level of grip and traction in all conditions, keeping you secure and stable with the ground below. The outsole is extremely durable, keeping your shoes reliable and working to enhance the longevity of the shoes while keeping you secure with the constantly changing terrains of your trail running mission. Multi-directional lugs provide unprecedented traction when running up and downhill as they dig deep with the mud and ground when wet and slippy.
