ASICS Versablast 4 Men's Running Shoes
The Versablast 4 is a versatile training partner for a variety of workouts and running regimens. Inspired by the Blast Beyond Series, ASICS wanted to make this shoe softer and lighter. It's designed to provide good comfort for a range of activities.
Mesh Upper
The Versablast 4 utilises a breathable mesh upper that ensures your feet stay cool and comfortable throughout use. The upper uses perforations to encourage cool air to circulate while removing built-up heat, preventing that distracting clammy feel. This upper also wicks away moisture, keeping the shoes lightweight and comfortable no matter how intense your run becomes. A traditional lacing system locks in the midfoot, reducing in-shoe movement while offering a personalised, non-restrictive feel. Completing the upper is a padded tongue and ankle collar, reducing the risk of irritation from rubbing and enhancing comfort.
Amplifoam Plus Midsole
For the midsole, Versablast 4 features Amplifoam Plus cushioning, a highly durable foam that remains incredibly bouncy and soft underfoot. This provides enhanced flexibility, comfort, and adaptability, making it ideal for natural running. Due to its durable nature, the midsole foam makes these shoes a great daily trainer. The foam will protect your joints when running on hard surfaces, while providing a softer, more comfortable feel during foot strike.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Completing the shoe is the durable rubber outsole. The abrasion-resistant rubber on the outsole prevents damage from occurring over a long period when exposed to hard ground. The rubber has been placed in high-wear areas where grip is needed most while also helping to shave weight. This helps reduce wear and tear, for a shoe that lasts, allowing you to run harder and for longer. Strategically placed flex grooves complete the outsole and have been crafted to be more flexible, providing comfort whether you're running or wearing them throughout the day.
