Synthetic and Leather Waterproof Upper

Crafted with both synthetic and leather materials, the upper of the Expeditor Trek Aqua is both breathable and highly protective around your foot. The synthetic sections allow air to flow in and around the shoe, keeping your feet cool and fresh throughout the walk, while the leather works to shield the foot from possible snags and bumps along the way. The overall durability of the shoes increases also. Berghaus's AQ membrane sits within the upper waterproofing material and prevents wet weather from entering, keeping you dry and comfortable when the weather changes. To secure the fit, the ankle collar has been hightened to hold your ankle in place over uneven surfaces, which is complemented by the traditional lacing system to lock the midfoot into place as well as the padded tongue against the ankle.

EVA Midsole

The midsole has been crafted using an EVA foam, guaranteeing plush comfort and added rebound to your step. The foam offers ample cushioning and softness underfoot, ensuring maximum comfort while delivering substantial support for hard-working feet. Above the foam is an insock, crafted from PU foam to further enhance the cushioning. Finally, a nylon shank resides within the midsole to shield the underfoot from possible injury from jagged rocks and sticks.

OPTI-STUD Rubber Outsole

Berghaus has incorporated their OPTI-STUD lug configuration into the rubber outsole of the Expeditor Trek Aqua boots, ensuring exceptional grip across a variety of terrains. With anti-clogging technology, softer dirt does not get stuck in between the lugs to enhance your grip throughout your venture.
