A redesigned midsole and outsole gives a widened platform that allows for increased stability and smoother transitions. Brooks' super-soft cushioning offers supreme comfort and distraction-free miles.
Engineered with a mesh upper, the Brooks Glycerin 20 boasts improved breathability and a superb fit. Materials used in the upper provide a better fit than previous models by stretching for a snug and secure fit that allows for more airflow. The mesh encourages cool air to permeate the fabric, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to maintain a cool, regulated temperature for a healthy environment feet can thrive in. The interior is soft for ultimate softness and supreme comfort surrounding the foot. A padded collar and tongue provide exceptional comfort, eradicating chafing and rubbing from hard edges against the skin. Finished with a traditional lace closure the Glycerin 20 offers a secure, locked-in feel that reduces in-shoe slippage.
The DNA Loft v3 midsole is a cushioning technology that is soft and comfortable. It carries the footwell and even moulds itself to the shape of the underfoot, allowing the platform to fully support the curvature of the underfoot. The Glycerin 20 has been designed with DNA Loft v3, Brooks' super soft cushioning that has been infused with nitrogen to be as soft, light and durable as possible. Having the cushioning and support helps to lessen the impact placed upon your joints as well as attenuating shock, minimising the potential risk of injury or discomfort. The plush midfoot transition zone is designed to propel your movements from the heel to toe, especially for a neutral runner to maintain the most efficient gait possible for a smoother ride.
Redesigned to give a widened platform, the Glycerin 20 offers a more stable ride and smoother transitions. The durable rubber outsole of the Glycerin provides exceptional durability to deliver a sustainable performance time and time again. In addition, the outsole possesses high grip and traction properties to ensure a firm, assured foothold so you can run with both comfort and confidence. Lastly, strategically placed Omega Flex Grooves feature throughout the outsole of the Glycerin and they allow the shoe to flex as one with the foot instead of restricting it without compromising on grip and durability.
