Combining mesh panelling and a thermoregulating upper, the StayFresh Ice Cap with sunshade from Compressport offers maximised airflow for desert and mountain heat. These materials are highly breathable to ensure your ability to cool down is high; with built-in UV protection, the cap prevents harmful rays from reaching you to get you through blazing heats. The Ice Cap features an EVA peak that shields your eyes from the sun but is also soft enough to be folded back for improved visibility on tricky terrain, while a wraparound sweatband stops sweat from getting in your eyes. A Saharan-style flap is implemented into the design, in line with hot weather kit lists for races such as UTMB. This flap is extended for better coverage and can be removed by the snap closures and elastic band when it is not in use.
