Lightweight Durable Upper

Designed to provide comfort and protection, the Dachstein Cougar GORE-TEX Women's Walking Boots are perfect for any outdoor adventure. Constructed using a tough and durable synthetic upper, the Cougar ensure complete protection on the most difficult terrain. The upper provides ample abrasion resistance so you can have complete confidence at all times. The lightweight and supportive uppe swathes the foot in breathable comfort to ensure you remain cool and comfortable at all times. The mesh allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EVA Midsole

Reducing the overall weight of the Dachstein Cougar is an extremely lightweight EVA midsole which provides high-performance cushioning. Towards the top, the EVA is extremely spongey and cushioned, which will bring lasting comfort that will reduce the stress placed on joints like the knees and ankles. This will, as a result, reduce the risk of injuries and the effects of fatigue. Towards the bottom, the EVA is firmer, and this will instantly absorb shocks from the uneven surface below, protecting the sole of the feet from damage. Giving you an added spring in your step, the midsole can flex which will react by giving you an added spring, which will give you a little extra boost to help keep you going for longer.

Griptonite Outsole

Providing ultimate, all-around protection, the Dachstein Cougar features a Griptonite rubber outsole.
