A versatile hiking boot, the Dachstein Gaisberg GORE-TEX is a lightweight silhouette with a multi-functional sole and modern styling that is perfect for the avid hiker.
3D Knitted Upper
Designed using a 3D Knit Upper, the Dachstein Gaisberg has a GORE-TEX membrane to give you excellent levels of waterproofing whilst being extremely breathable. Keeping the feet well ventilated, the breathable membrane ensures the feet remain cool and dry. The knitted fabric is fortified for stability around the ankles by additional insets ensuring you'll always be well balanced. Adding extra comfort is the Lycra collar which caresses the foot keeping you free from irritation. A TPU heel cap holds the foot in place, surrounding the shoe giving you a locked in feel to conquer all terrains.
EVA Midsole
Constructed using an EVA midsole, the Dachstein Gaisberg's offer high levels of comfort, ensuring that your feet and ankles feel like they're walking on clouds. Dachstein have moved the roll-off point of the foot forward slightly so it is more natural for the feet and faster for the roll-off cycle. An Ortholite insole ensures long term cushioning as well as high level breathability adding to the already excellent ventilation of the Gasiberg.
Rubber Outsole
The newly developed outsole from Dachstein gives you the perfect hold and natural motion you'll need, with flex grooves which facilitate improved mobility. To ensure maximum grip up and down hills, Dachstein have given 3mm lugs under the forefoot and 4mm lugs on the heel. This provides you with firmer grip and traction so that no terrain is too much for you. Additionally, this mirrors the natural motion of the foot as to not alter with your natural movements.
