Made from waterproof, 220D PA plain TPU materials, the Vertrail 16 backpack is a great companion for those long, often difficult adventures in the mountains. The waterproof properties will keep your essentials dry even when the rain comes down hard. Additionally, durable TPU-coated zippers and an updated lid design keep the rain and spray out of the pack, further protecting your belongings from the weather. Allowing you to organise and store your essentials safely, the backpack has multiple compartments and zippered pockets, including an elasticated inner compartment for storing your wet or sweaty items, or is also compatible with a 3-litre drinking system for on-the-go hydration. The roll-top construction allows you to extend the capacity of the backpack, which is great for those longer trips. Not only this, but the backpack has the ability to store important climbing items such as a helmet mount for keeping the helmet easily accessible, as well as an ice axe attachment and trekking pole holsters on the shoulder straps. The wide, vest-style shoulder straps and soft materials on your back wrap around the torso to create a seamless fit and unrestricted freedom of movement. Two mesh soft-flask pouches on the shoulder straps offer fast hydration while on the go, with stabiliser straps helping to reduce bounce. Two precision-adjustable, detachable sternum straps allow you to alter the fit to a more comfortable one, and ice axe and pole attachment points on one side offer easy and convenient transporting options. An SOS label has also been included, should you need it in an emergency, and a safety whistle to alert people to your location. Two multi-purpose bungee cords complete the pack, which allows you to switch gear around in no time.
