Deuter Aircontact Lite 65 + 10 Trekking Backpack
Ideal for long treks and high-altitude hiking, the Aircontact Lite 65+10 uses exceptional technologies to provide an outstanding experience.
Deuter's Aircontact technologies are the main attraction of this backpack. It's a specialised technology that firstly uses a strap for optimal positioning of the backpack, and can be easily repositioned on the shoulder straps, using a "Triglide" buckle. Using breathable padding with special ventilating hollow chamber foam, the air is circulated through the breathable Aircontact cushions of this system. Aircontact uses anatomically shaped hip fins, which are made from multiple layers. The inner side of the product has a layer of soft foam, with 3D AirMesh lining for even more comfort. The firm foam on the outside is modelled anatomically to your shape and transfers the load to the hips. Side compression straps on the fins also regulate the load and increase the stability of the bag. The product has an anatomically profiled 'X-frame' which offers a balance of torsional rigidity and flexibility to follow the movement of your body and is able to transfer the weight through its perfect back fit. The integrated Vari-Quick system is added for easy adjustment to suit any back length. There are many other elements of adjustments, such as; sternum belt, height-adjustable lid, and adjustable load straps. To help you avoid strain or any problems when carrying this backpack, it is curated with lightweight fabrics, to then provide a comfier fit. There are multiple pockets such as; a special compartment in the inside for valuables, a lid compartment, an elasticated inner compartment for storing wet clothing, all providing ample storage for valuables and necessities. The bag is also compatible with 3 litre drinking systems, so you can stay hydrated throughout. Besides the practicalities of the backpack, the materials are 100D PA High Tenacity, which is the lightweight version of Deuter's traditional polyamide 220D textile. This is due to the thinner yarn, making it possible to reduce the weight. The webbing structure makes the fabric highly resistant as well as, tearproof. The bag is woven from 600 denier polyester yarn, which also has a thick PU coating.
