GORE-TEX Upper

Constructed using a durable full grain leather upper, the Ecco Multi Vent Walking Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The leather upper keeps the feet protected from debris and sharp objects as well as minimising the risks of wear and tear. Perforations within the leather increase ventilation ensuring your feet can breathe easy as you power through on hot and humid days. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX Surround lining resides inside the shoe; it supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Offering 360 degree's of climate control, the construction keeps water from penetrating inside the shoe whilst ensuring perspiration is allowed to escape; keeping your feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Completing the upper is a hidden lacing structure which promotes a secure, locked-down fit to reduce in shoe-slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Fluidform Midsole

Fluidform has been used within the midsole to enhance flexibility so you can continue with quality and comfort. Anatomically designed to fit perfectly, the Multi Vent's have been constructed using ECCO's own 3D last that follow the natural contours of the foot to increase overall comfort. Fluidform technology forms a comfortable base around the shoe that ensures optimal support and improves cushioning so you feel comfortable on all adventures. ECCO's signature comfort comes from maintaining the anatomical integrity of the foot within the shoe and generating a durable, supple and integral bond between the midsole and its leather upper. Cutouts within the midsole help to reduce overall weight and increases air permeability. Working in tandem is the perforated insole and GORE-TEX surround technology which both work to increase ventilation and wick sweat away from the foot keeping your feet dry when temperatures begin to rise.

Rugged Rubber Outsole

A rugged rubber outsole adds excellent grip and durability in all weather conditions. About Ecco

Karl Toosbury- the founder of ECCO- had a vision. He wanted to own a shoe factory and run his own business. Trained from an early age as a shoemaker, he gradually rose through the ranks. By his early thirties he was managing a shoe factory in Copenhagen. The business however, was not his.

The family decided to give up the security of a regular job, sold their home and moved to Bredebro in the west of Denmark. Karl then took over a empty factory, and sent out an ad asking "Who wants us?"

By the end of the year 74 people were employed and Karl's vision unfolded.
