Constructed using Pertex Quantum, the Haglofs Nordic Mimic Hooded Jacket is the perfect companion for year-round adventures. Pertex Quantum is designed to be a light, soft fabric that allows insulation to fully loft by improving the efficiency of insulation. Working to keep you warm and dry the Pertex Quantum fabrication has been treated with a highly durable water repellent treatment that can shed rain and snow easily for the winter months. It also works to block out cold winds so you can remain toasty and warm when the temperature drops. The construction also allows for a high level of breathability and increases airflow so you'll never feel an uncomfortable heat build-up. By allowing cool air to flow into the garment the ventilated fabric creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Working with Pertex Quantum, Mimic Platinum insulation works to provide a perfect balance between warmth and weight, whilst also having minimal absorption properties. Mimic Platinum is an extremely effective insulating material, which will offer you an exceptional heat to weight ratio. As well as this, the insulation works to wick excess sweat and moisture away from the skin so you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. As well as this, Primaloft Aerogel has been used on the hood, shoulders and chest areas to ensure added warmth and protection. Aerogel is composed of more than 95% air, and has the lowest thermal conductivity of any known substance; it has been blended with PrimaLoft proprietary microfibers to create a synthetic powerhouse delivering unprecedented lightweight warmth. The insulation is built to withstand extreme conditions whilst ensuring you remain comfortable and warm at all times.
Additionally, a durable flexible fabric has been used on the side of the Nordic to ensure a comfortable stretch for all your adventures. The stretchy side panels move as you do to provide unrestricted motion because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. A hood provides comfort and works to keep elements out in the winter months. The hood can be used to shield the face during rain showers and harsh winds so you'll remain comfortable and warm when temperatures drop. Elasticated cuffs provide an optimum fit and work to seal in escaping heat, therefore reducing the risks of cold spots. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be zipped up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. Lastly, a chest pocket allows you to store small essentials.
