Hi-Tec Storm WP Walking Boots

The Storm Waterproof is an entry level light hiking boot for men. Featuring a Dri-Tec waterproof and breathable membrane, with a suede and mesh upper, these durable boots will keep feet dry and comfortable.

Dri-Tec Upper

The Storm Waterproof Walking Boot from Hi-Tec is made with a Dri-Tec Membrane. This feature allows the boot to prevent water getting inside and at the same time, allows cool air to flow in at the same time as releasing warmer air. This will allow the wearer's feet to remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. A Premium Suede has been chosen to construct the upper as it is a superbly durable material which will protect the boot and foot from potentially rough and loose terrain which could cause damage and discomfort. This fabric is also extremely flexible and will allow the boot to wrap the foot with ease for a snug and supportive fit. Mesh Panels have been strategically inserted into the upper of the boot. This will allow the boot to breathe by releasing warm air at the same time as allowing cool air to flow into the boot, keeping the inside of the boot and the wearer as dry and comfortable as possible. The closure feature chosen is a traditional lacing system which can be quickly and easily adjusted to offer the wearer a snug, supportive and personal fastening.

Compressed EVA Midsole And MDT Outsole

A removable Comfort Moulded EVA Sockliner has been placed at the footbed of this boot. This feature offers the wearer a plush feeling under the foot for long-lasting cushioning and comfort. The sock liner is made from a fabric with Moisture Wicking properties, meaning it can draw excess sweat and moisture away from the skin and move it to outer layers where it can be easily evaporated to keep the wearer feeling cool, dry and comfortable. Compression Moulded EVA has been chosen to construct the midsole of the Storm Waterproof boot. This specific type of EVA was chosen because it works fantastically at absorbing impact and offers the wearer plush cushioning and long lasting comfort. MDT rubber has been chosen to construct the outsole. MDT is a superbly durable material which will allow the boot to protect the foot and remain in great condition for longer. This rubber will also offer supreme grip, keeping the wearer stable on their feet in various weather conditions.
