Leno Weave Upper

Built for fast running over technical terrain, the Zinal 3 features a sleek, ultra-breathable leno weave upper. This tough yet lightweight construction shields your feet from trail hazards with its strong, sheer mesh design. Strategically placed perforations keep air flowing to maintain a cool, fresh feel, while quick-drying materials help minimise sweat and moisture build-up. The upper wraps securely around the foot for a comfortable, stable fit, allowing you to move freely without distraction. Designed with durability in mind, the shoe delivers long-lasting and reliable performance. A stretchy, dynamic vamp enhances comfort and breathability. For shielding against tough rocks and rubble on changing terrain, the Zinal features a protective toe rand. Working in tandem, the shoes feature a heel pull tab for easy on and off, and the traditional laces securely lock down the midfoot for optimum mobility, comfort, and to help prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Super Critical Foam Midsole

An update to their predecessors, the Zinal 3 features a super-critically foamed EVA midsole so you can enjoy trail runs in comfort. Boosting energy return, the midsole offers a more reactive ride, with excellent cushioning and a supportive landing. Shock-absorbing properties help absorb impact when striking down on tough ground, reducing risks of injury or discomfort on your run. In a low-profile design, the unique EVA keeps your foot closer to the ground, as well as utilises firmer materials for efficient push-off. The symmetrical footbed is designed to provide the support you want and nothing you don't.

Rubber Outsole

For focused runs and optimal security underfoot, the Zinal 3s utilise Hoka's proprietary sticky rubber outsole. The compound ensures a tough grip with a variety of trail environments, from rocky terrain to slippery hills, it provides outstanding traction and stability. Adorning the rubber is a deep, tacky 5mm lug pattern, anchoring you down into the ground below. The lugs dig deep on wobbly trail runs, providing you with a more aggressive experience than ever.
