Leno Weave Textile Upper
Crafted using a Leno Weave upper, the Cielo X1 3.0 is breathable and abrasion-resistant in zoned sections where durability is needed most. The upper encourages cool air to circulate, while at the same time, removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. A warp-knit tongue to reduce irritation caused by rubbing, while the padded heel collar sits close to the ankle to increase step-in comfort. Also featuring a dynamic vamp, the Cielo X1 allows for the natural splay of the toes to improve stability and comfort. Completing the upper is an asymmetrical lacing system with notched laces, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
Dual-Layer PEBA Foam Midsole
Offering an exceptionally comfortable ride, the Cielo X1 3.0 utilises a dual-layer PEBA foam midsole to provide a cushioned and responsive experience. The foam adapts to your stride to improve flexibility and help reduce injury by absorbing impact for a softer landing. A speed-centric MetaRocker, designed with a low heel-toe drop, creates a rocking chair effect to encourage a smooth transition through the gait cycle for a faster toe-off. Additionally, a newly-designed carbon fibre plate ensures a smoother transition, minimises energy loss, and increases propulsion. The Cielo X1 3.0 features a compression-moulded polyurethane outsole designed for exceptional traction and durability.
