This airy upper provides a more accommodating fit, whilst also allowing constant cool air to travel through the shoes, preventing overheating and keeping feet fresh during tough periods and tricky adventures. Strategically placed perforations provide quick-drying properties to reduce moisture growth and prevent you from getting sweaty under pressure. Enhancing longevity and comfort on tough trails, the shoes feature a strategic, protective rand for added support against bumps and bashes on the move. Reducing irritation and chafing, the materials sit soft against your foot to ensure distraction-free strides and work with the flat-laying gusseted tongue to keep you supported on every rocky path. The retooled collar sits comfortably against your foot, keeping you well-contained and providing long-lasting comfort. Traditional laces and an adjustable eyestay lockdown your midfoot to keep you secure, and allow you to get the perfect fit.

EVA Midsole

With an updated stack height, the Torrent 5s utilise a plush, cushioned super-critical EVA foam midsole. This responsive cushioning keeps you light and bouncy underfoot, with a durable compound that propels you forwards, allowing you to tackle every tricky element on the trail. Absorbing shocks as your foot hits the ground, the midsole reduces impact, reducing pressure on your feet and ankles and preventing injury and discomfort during tough periods. Working in tandem, the shoes feature a rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame that nestles the foot for added comfort and stability, whilst an extra-plush sockliner ensures soft step-in comfort for those long runs. Smooth Metarocker technology resides underfoot to increase running efficiency, allow a natural gait cycle and smoothly push you forwards.

High-Abrasion Rubber Outsole
