Jacquard Knit Upper

The upper of the Clifton 10 has been constructed using a jacquard knit, offering a great fit and increased breathability, with a reinforced toecap for protection. The fabric is also highly wicking, working to actively and efficiently remove sweat and moisture as it is created, leaving feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable even when training heats up. The fabric is made using 57% rPET and a 95% rPET lining for an eco-conscious choice. Perforations in the upper encourage cool air to circulate whilst built-up heat escapes, creating a cooler, drier environment for feet to thrive. For a secure, personalised fit, the shoes use a bungee lace, alongside a hook-and-loop system, whilst the padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear and comfort. Completing the uppers are reflective elements that enhance visibility in low-light conditions, allowing your child to remain safe and seen.

CMEVA Midsole

A Smooth Metarocker has been added to increase running efficiency and create a smoother ride during running. The unique geometry has a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, encouraging a guided gait cycle. Supporting a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off allows your child to run for longer, as this slows fatigue. A platform of compression-moulded sugarcane EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft, and durable, it spares your child's joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst adding an energetic response with each step. Hoka has introduced their Rearfoot-Focused Active Foot Frame technology, designed to cradle and support the foot in the rearfoot area, enhancing stability and a smooth transition from midfoot landing to toe-off. Increasing underfoot comfort, there is a moulded removable EVA sockliner for a soft feel with every step taken.

Durabrasion Outsole

A grippy outsole with a full ground contact design completes the Clifton 10, working hard to keep your child firmly in control across varied terrains over a long period. The rubber is highly durable, resisting the traumas of heel strikes to serve as a long-lasting running buddy.
