eVent Waterproof Upper

The Sky Toa is constructed with a technical synthetic upper that offers superb breathability, durability without sacrificing on weight. The upper allows air to permeate providing a constant supply of fresh cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air that resides within the shoes. In addition, the upper features Hoka's eVent waterproof bootie construction to provide effective weather protection without sacrificing breathability. The membrane is small enough to resist and repel water beads but is large enough for moisture vapour and air to escape, increasing the comfort within the shoes. Synthetic overlays work in tandem with the traditional lacing system to increase the locked down fit of the shoe, providing a superb fit and feel.

Rangi Midsole

A Rangi midsole foam technology aids with durable cushioning and helps with a responsive feel. The cushioning midsole works hard to absorb impact forces that are created during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle, then transfers the energy created to the forefoot where it is used to propel you forward.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Vibram Megagrip covers the entire outsole for a full ground contact design. The aggressive Vibram lugs offer great grip and traction on multi-surfaces for a truly stable and comfortable ride. Having exceptional traction will allow you to tackle difficult or arduous terrain with full confidence as well as comfort. In addition, Multi-directional lugs take supreme grip up a notch, keeping you on your feet on varied terrains whether ascending or descending, wet or dry.
