The Gaviota 2 is made from a lightweight engineered mesh that offers superior breathability when compared to the first Gaviota shoe, whilst embracing all that made its predecessor so innovative. This breathability allows sweat molecules to leave your skin and pass to the surface of the shoe, keeping you dry and fresh, and ready to continue your workout in full comfort. This optimal comfort is a focus of this shoe, with arch-lock wings wrapped around the upper offering mid-foot stability and support, creating a functional yet comfortable shoe that allows you to push yourself further than ever with complete ease of mind. This model comes with a wider than usual fit, perfect for those looking for a more spacious shoe that fits their particular needs.
As with all Hoka shoes, the Gaviota 2 features premium quality cushioning. The lighter, more responsive, durable cushioning protects the foot without sacrificing performance. This uniquely shaped midsole combines with a low heel-toe drop to build a geometric pattern referred to by Hoka as a meta-rocker. It compliments a runner's natural gait and drives the foot forward quicker and more effectively. The effect and natural glide can be described as 'wheels for your feet', and this innovation results in a smoother and more enjoyable run than ever before. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner offers a comfortable step in and precise fit, further adding to the outstanding fit and comfort experienced with the Gaviota 2.A moderate heel bevel provides smooth hell transition.
The Hoka J-Frame delivers support and protection while guiding your foot without the use of rigid and unforgiving materials. It's 'J' shape uses a firmer density rubberised foam to support the inside of your foot and heel, offering superb rebounding and durability. The Zonal rubber placement on the sole offers further durability, guaranteeing that the Gaviota 2 can take anything you throw at it while offering unbelievable support, stability, and performance.
