Inov8 Roclite 280 Women's Trail Running Shoes

This versatile multi-terrain running shoe is ideal for long adventures when the terrain and surroundings are unpredictable. The features of the shoe include an integrated gaiter clip system for debris-free running. The 280 offers great multi-traction thanks to the Roclite outsole while increased cushioning delivers comfort and breathability.

Synthetic Mesh Upper

The Inov8 Roclite 280 Running Shoes are constructed from a flexible nylon mesh upper with mesh inner lining providing all round breathability and key ventilation, keeping your feet cool and dry through every step. Providing stabilisation and security to the upper fabric, synthetic leather overlays connecting to the lacing eyelets and wrapping around the midsection coincide with an aesthetically designed fabric overlays to enable a close tight fitting with maximum support and reducing torsion to maintain the shape and form, while still looking good.

Staying with the upper features, a full forefoot abrasion-resistant compound is integrated over the mesh to diminish any unwanted debris and fight back against sharp, uneven terrains, while a rear heel counter promotes optimal stability from heel strike to toe-off, overall prolonging the shoe's expectancy. A reduced rand keeps the weight and cost down but maintains solid performance. Further Features include a TPU Lacing System uses TPU lacing supports for a strong, lightweight and secure fit. Gaiter Pocket on the shoe allows for easy and secure attachment of a gaiter to keep out debris and a 6mm sockliner Footbed for additional underfoot comfort.

EVA Midsole

The midsole for the Roclite 280 is set with a full-length EVA Foam which is a moderately thick layer of industry standard foam for cushioning and flexibility. It actively reduces forces pressed upon the underfoot and arch and allows for a responsive feel with sensory feedback. As this provides underfoot support, a 3 Arrow Shoc-Zone provides moderate underfoot cushioning with a 9mm heel-to-toe drop. This is Inov8's 2nd highest level of cushioning on their 0-4 arrow scale. The midsole also features a Fascia Band running from the heel to the forefoot acts as a rigid lever arm, releasing energy with each step and propelling the runner forward and a Meta-Shank that extends from the midfoot to the forefoot in a 5-finger fashion, for flexible underfoot impact protection.

Roclite Outsole

The Roclite is a trail outsole built with a moderately aggressive lug pattern. It is intended for use on hard packed trails and mixed terrain. Sticky Rubber is embedded for optimal performance and maximised grip in wet conditions. Key placed Meta-Flex grooves are located at the forefoot to encourage natural forefoot flex during toe-off.
