Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale

For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the F-Lite 235 v3 Training Shoes as Grade 5.

Adaptive Upper

Featuring two types of material in the upper, the F-Lite 235 V3 takes a step away from the conventional design. Narrow mesh is placed on the lateral side of the Training shoe to provide consistent support. The medial side, as well as the tongue, are covered by a stretchy knit textile with large pores for a customised and comfortable fit that remains breathable therefore keeping the interior fresh. Finishing the upper is synthetic overlays wrapping the entire upper to provide added structure whilst also protecting the material from wear and tear.

Powerflow+ Midsole

Introducing the new Inov8 Powerflow+ midsole, this training shoe offers the perfect balance between stability and responsiveness. This midsole helps the foot to stay stable even under heavy loads without compromising on cushioning. With this shoe Inov8 promise 10% better shock absorption and 25% better energy return compared to standard midsoles. Designed to keep the foot closer to the ground, the F-Lite 235 V3 provides a supernatural feel that offers a better sense of control.

Inov8 Rubber Outsole

Constructed using a gum rubber compound, the Inov8 rubber serves as a durable and grippy outsole instilled with Graphene for added durability, flexibility and traction. This rubber outsole also protrudes up at the front, back and sides of the shoe to guard the areas against abrasion. At the front, this feature forms a protective bumper for the toes ideal for uneven or rocky surfaces. Mimicking the skeletal structure of the foot, the outsole features deep horizontal cutouts and vertical grooves to help the foot spread naturally and grasp the surface to reduce slipping. These grooves and cutouts also allow the shoe to bend freely in all directions with extra flexibility at the forefoot thanks to the wide Meta-Flex groove. Paired with DFB (Dynamic Fascia Band), a flexible TPU shank embedded into the sole, the outsole ensures the foot is able to transition smoothly from heel to toe.
