Air Mesh Upper

Constructed using an Air Mesh upper, the Trailtalon Speed allows for optimal airflow in and out of the shoes, by allowing warm air to escape, and cool air to enter, creating the perfect microclimate for your feet. This will work constantly over a long period, keeping you feeling cool and comfortable over long miles. Working alongside the mesh are overlays located on the midfoot and heel to offer a more secure feel whilst protecting you from uneven terrain and rocks. The anatomical fit ensures your toes can splay and feel the ground, while still giving you that secure feel that you need when running fast. A soft, padded tongue provides a close fit to prevent stones and debris from entering whilst enhancing comfort while the heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot for a secure fit.

A new shape, featuring on all-new Inov8 footwear, has been designed to hug the natural contours of your foot, locking in at the heel and widening at the toes. This new design brings more comfort, greater confidence and unhindered performance. Incorporated within this new shape are two new fits; Standard Fit for a closer feel and extra nimbleness over tricky terrain and Wide for a relaxed feel and extra comfort over longer distances.

POWERFLOW PRO Midsole

Featuring Inov8's new POWERFLOW PRO midsole, the Trailtalon Speed offers one of Inov8's softest rides. This, combined with incredible cushioning and comfort, provides you with an ultralight and durable feeling. This underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still enables you to feel the ground when running over uneven terrain. A new, lighter version of the BOOMERANG footbed features hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return which allows you to push further for longer.

Graphene Grip Outsole

Featuring a unique outsole inspired by the hoof pattern of the mountain goat, the Trailtalon Speed utilises a Graphene-Grip rubber outsole that ensures ultimate control and traction whilst out on the trails. The outsole can form an extremely strong grip with a wide range of different terrains, guaranteeing complete underfoot traction. Naturally tough, the outsole will maintain its shape and definition over a long period. 6mm multidirectional lugs have been meticulously shaped and positioned to improve propulsion at the front, and braking at the rear. Measured spacing between the lugs prevents debris from sticking to the outsole, cuts through loose trails and remains super-durable, but also gives great grip in wet conditions.
