Single Layer Ripstop Upper

Designed using a single-layer ripstop Polyester, the upper on the TrailFly Pro provides enhanced comfort without compromising durability. The single-layer material makes up the ultra-lightweight and flexible upper and encourages cool air to flow while removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a perfect microclimate where feet can thrive. The ripstop material is exceptionally durable and stands up to the rigours of trail running. Featuring NATURALFIT technologies, the TrailFly Pro has been designed to allow your toes to splay and perform naturally, letting you reconnect with what is underfoot and achieve full natural potential. A new offset heel collar frames both the lateral and medial sides of the ankle, allowing each to function freely and provide optimal support, while the speed tongue reduces the chance of irritation caused by rubbing. 3D print overlays hold the foot to increase support and durability, and lastly, a traditional lacing system with notched laces locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a locked-in and secure fit.

POWERFLOW ELITE Midsole

Inov8 have seized the opportunity to enhance the midsole in the TrailFly collection with their latest release. By making the foam even lighter and slightly firmer, they have improved overall performance. The supercritical TPEE POWERFLOW Elite foam offers excellent cushioning while still providing the necessary ground feel for running over uneven, technical terrain. Additionally, the foam increases the midsole's durability, allowing you to smash out the miles in the Trailfly Pro. Working alongside this, the shoes feature the new BOOMERANG Lite footbed, which gives a bouncy feel and retains stability with plenty of agile ground feel. The insole features hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for increased energy return during your stride to help you preserve your energy, perfect for long runs where maximising every bit of energy counts. The midsole also utilises a rocker shape geometry to assist in the gait cycle, using the energy of your last stride to power you into your next one for an effortless feel and explosive toe-off that helps you rack up the miles easily.

G-GRIP Rubber Outsole

Using their innovative graphene within the outsole, Inov8 have created dependable grip on dry and wet surfaces, as well as incredible durability. The graphene-infused rubber increases the TrailFly Pro slip resistance, guaranteeing complete control on uncertain terrain. This naturally tough outsole maintains shape and definition over time to ensure you are confident every step of the most treacherous trails. Also featuring 4mm chevron-shaped rubber lugs, grip and traction have been enhanced for both soft, muddy grounds and slippery rocks. The multi-directional lugs assist with shedding debris quickly, with the angled front lugs boosting forward propulsion and the rear lugs assisting with sudden braking. The outsole uses a split design, which enables the shoes to flex and adapt to changing terrain, keeping you connected with the ground for confident strides.
