The outer layer of the Pouring Rain Jacket is made from Texapore, a robust weatherproof fabric, designed to protect you against wind and wet weather conditions. The waterproof nature of Texapore repels rain and snow and dries quickly, keeping you feeling dry and comfortable when wet weather hits. Totally windproof, the fabric stops the wind from penetrating through the fabric so you always feel warm and comfortable. Whilst being windproof this does not affect the breathability of the jacket, as the fabric allowing cool air to permeate and hot air to escape for maximum breathability, preventing intolerable heat build-ups and maintaining a comfortable feel. The fixed hood provides additional shielding from the elements with adjustable volume enabling you with a more snug fit to protect your neck and face. The hood also stows in the collar which is great for brighter sunnier days when you are not in need of a hood. Completing the outer jacket is two hand pockets, ideally placed to keep your hands warm as well as providing a place to securely store essentials.
This outdoor jacket can be worn on its own as a simple rain shell or teamed with the warming fleece inner for more of a winter jacket feel.
