The Fortux GORE-TEX QC is a lightweight, highly cushioned mid-height boot for fastpacking and lightweight hiking.

Textile and Synthetic Upper

Featuring a combination of textile and synthetic fabrics, alongside a GORE-TEX membrane, the Fortux GORE-TEX are a great all-around boot to keep you comfortable and protected. The textile and synthetic mix is highly durable to provide you with a long-lasting pair of boots that you can truly rely on. The textile fabric is soft and provides next-to-skin comfort whilst being breathable and protective for the perfect micro-climate, so you can thrive under pressure. The materials use large pieces of fabric, which eliminates the need for stitches, creating a high degree of wearing comfort and preventing possible friction or pressure points. Additionally, the boots feature a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, providing exceptional waterproof and breathable protection to ensure optimal comfort and shield feet from the elements on the trail. The padded heel collar and tongue sit close to the foot and ankle to provide optimal comfort, with heel pull tabs added to assist in putting the boots on and off. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.

DynaEVA Midsole

Providing excellent cushioning and outstanding comfort, the Fortux utilises a DynaEVA midsole construction. The compound has been developed using a triple-density foam to provide you with a boot that stands out from the crowd, including shape retention properties, meaning the boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after many miles you endure. The lightweight midsole will cushion your strides and provide you with even better recovery, thanks to the special cell structure, which prevents the risks of injuries when traversing changing and tricky terrains. This improves walking comfort and ensures that rolling properties have been increased, even on longer hikes.

Lowa Trac Ultra Outsole

Equipped with a Lowa Trac Ultra rubber outsole, the Fortux GORE-TEX is ready to tackle the challenges of the trails. The durable compound provides you with excellent grip and traction across the varying surfaces of your trail, preparing you for every stage of the hike. Alongside this are multidirectional lugs, which dig into the ground to provide excellent grip, keeping you stable on your next hike. The sole also features a distinctive heel edge, which enhances wearing comfort.
